Regain 2
Summary
The Regain 2 building provides 1000m2 of modern, open-plan office space to house two SMEs and over 80 workers. It was constructed as part of the ‘Tech Valleys’ scheme to nurture a cutting edge, innovative industry on the site of the old Ebbw Vale steelworks. Regain 2 was designed with sustainability at the forefront and features a number of low-carbon, environmentally focused features. It features a green roof with a PV array, dual high speed EV chargers and a district heating system to maximise energy efficiency.
As mentioned at the meeting, my experience from observing at project meetings has been on a project well delivered through collaboration and
pro-active engagement throughout. As mentioned below it was an extremely challenging project from the start. I think the delivered building looks fantastic and I’m sure will be an asset to BGCBC and one for all to be proud of.
